The Honorable Michael W. Michalak, US Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, will address delegation members and guests of the Vietnam Environmental Forum on May 25th at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi.
The World Bank estimates that Vietnam needs $2.5 billion per year to deal with environmental pollution because of its rapid industrialization. With over 3,000 kilometers of coastline, Vietnam is also one of the world’s most vulnerable locations for sea level rise.
However, Vietnam is becoming one of the most attractive locations in Asia for business and tourism. U.S. and international companies are bullish on Vietnam's long term prospects and consider Vietnam one of the most attractive emerging markets in the world.
We invite you to join a unique conference on May 25 in Hanoi and May 27 in Ho Chi Minh City. We are bringing key business and government stakeholders together to discuss Vietnam’s environment and climate change needs. The conference is timely as Vietnam strives to become Southeast Asia’s destination of choice for business and tourism.
Hanoi is the seat of government, the key place to access ministries and policy makers. Ho Chi Minh City is the industrial and commercial center, boasting a core concentration of international and domestic business interests.
Join us and help your own company identify new business opportunities!
